Perfect spot in Brecon!
We had a lovely 2-night escape! The location was spot-on, and Pete was super friendly, making us feel right at home. Our king room was just the right size with all the basics covered. Breakfast had loads of options, all delicious! The only thing was the parking could get tricky with space.

Scenic mountain views.
The room was in such poor condition, with cracked tiles in the shower and peeling paint. I couldn't shake off the feeling of dirtiness due to stains on pillows and mould in the bathroom. To top it off, breakfast was poorly made and completely disappointing, not what I expected for the price I paid.

The host provided exceptional hospitality. The use of dressing gowns added comfort to the stay.
The private external bathroom was pleasant, but the access felt slightly inconvenient.

100% recommend for taking strolls
Comfortable room, spacious bathroom, with a great shower strength and a lovely continental breakfast offering plenty of choice including homemade pancakes and brioche, made our stay truly enjoyable, especially considering the guest house is just 83 km from the nearest airport.
Can’t fault anything about it.

It was just an excellent fit for a weekend adventure in Brecon, great for the money. The room had a nice mountain view which added to the experience. Make sure to bring your own tea, as there's none provided in the room.

I loved how I could make myself a cup of tea anytime with the supplies downstairs. The mountain view from my room was stunning. The hotel offers great relaxation opportunities like cozy reading nooks and a lovely garden to unwind in. One small thing to improve would be to clean up the entrance a bit, but inside was nice and tidy!

Wonderful host and great breakfast options
I had a lovely stay with a spacious twin room that was perfectly comfortable after a long day of climbing. The owner, Pete, was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. Breakfast was truly a highlight, featuring freshly baked croissants and a good variety of cereals and cooked options. The only downside was the shared bathroom situation, which might not suit everyone.

I stayed for two nights and enjoyed my time exploring Brecon and the nearby attractions. The location was perfect for my hiking plans, and the spacious room offered a nice retreat after a day out. The breakfast options were great. I particularly liked the poached eggs on toast to kickstart my mornings. the external bathroom was a bit unexpected and might not be suitable for everyone, but it didn't detract significantly from my overall experience.
